Xande Silva has joined Ligue 2 side Dijon from Nottingham Forest on a three year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Dijon announced: “The DFCO is pleased to formalize the three-year signing of 25-year-old Portuguese winger Xande Silva.

“In England, the native of Porto stands out in his first season by scoring 8 goals in 11 games with the reserve of the London club. Performances that opened the doors to the first team. Loaned to Aris Salonika (Greek D1) to continue to harden up, he completed a full season there (33 games, 4 goals, 3 assists). Since 2021, he has played 10 games (1 assist) for English club Nottingham Forest, promoted to the Premier League at the end of the 2021/2022 season.”
Silva said: “It was a priority file on this Mercato, explains the recruitment unit of the DFCO. He is a player we have been following for over a year. Xande has great qualities in terms of percussion, speed and power. He can play in both lanes or as a second striker. He is a solar player who will bring his enthusiasm and his joie de vivre to the locker room.
“DFCO is a good French club which recently played in Ligue 1. The facilities are new and of high quality. When the leaders offered me a contract, I was excited. Because the club’s objective is to return to Ligue 1 soon. I liked the challenge offered and I am happy to be here. We want to give happiness to the supporters.”
