West Bromwich head coach Sam Allardyce has commented on the outcome of the match against Manchester United (1-1) in the EPL.
“Personally, I’m sad for Mbaye Diagne – he could have made a hat-trick. It would have been very useful for him. He scored a great goal but didn’t take advantage of easier chances,” said Allardyce to BBC.
“We had enough chances to earn three points,” he said.
“I am satisfied with the team’s play and tactics. The boys did not get discouraged when the opponents scored with their only shot on goal in the first half,” he added.
“In the final minutes the goalkeeper kept us from losing. We didn’t deserve to lose.”
