Thomas Tuchel Wants Timo Werner to Gain Confidence from His Goal

After 31 unsuccessful attempts, Timo Werner was on aim in the Premier League.

And Thomas Tuchel expects him to gain confidence from his goal.

Since the November 7 victory over Sheffield United, Werner has ended his wait for a first Premier League goal.

He scored Chelsea’s second goal in a routine 2-0 win against Newcastle United.

And Tuchel claims Werner’s goal would send the “last percentage of belief” to the Chelsea striker.

“For the strikers, the last percentage of belief comes from goals,” Tuchel told a media conference.

“He worked very hard, he was very decisive. Again, today with an assist and a goal, this is a super, super point for him.”
