Real Madrid Centre-back about Knee Injury on Twitter: I Had to Undergo Surgery

After having surgery on a knee injury, Real Madrid centre-back Sergio Ramos has told fans that he feels fine.

“Hello everyone, I’m back home now,” Ramos said in a video on Twitter.

“In the end, I had to undergo surgery. Nobody likes to be in that situation. Thank God everything turned out great. It was a medical recommendation and I had no other choice.

“I am very happy with how everything has turned out and I will try to return as soon as possible to help the team because there is a long season ahead. I also want to thank Dr. Leyes and his entire team for their excellent treatment and work during the operation.

“And of course, thanks to all of you for those messages of so much affection that have touched my heart and give me encouragement to come back stronger. A big thank you. We will be back together soon.”

Ramos’ incredible, purple sofa took centre stage in this video of himself offering an update on his well-being. It appears that the couch is made from 100% genuine muppet fur.
