Ahead of the Champions League 1/8 final games against Barcelona, PSG striker Neymar has spoken out about the injury he suffered.
Neymar has played 11 games for PSG in Ligue 1 this season, scoring six goals and three assists.
“The sadness is big, the pain is huge and the tears are unstoppable. Once again, I am cut off for a while from what I love to do most in life – play football,” the Brazilian posted on Instagram.
“Sometimes I feel uncomfortable because of my style, because I go on the dribble and get kicked all the time. I don’t know if the problem is me or what I do on the pitch. It’s really frustrating for me.
“It makes me insanely sad when I hear from players, coaches, commentators or who the hell else something along the lines of “he should really get hit”, “he dives”, “crybaby”, “child”, “spoilt” and so on.
“Honestly, it makes me sad and I don’t know how much longer I can put up with it. I just want to experience the joy of playing football. Nothing more.”
