PSG striker Kylian Mbappe scored a hat-trick in the opening leg of the Champions League 1/8 final against Barcelona (4-1).
And he has explained how the team have improved under head coach Mauricio Pochettino.
“It’s important to continue in the same vein, and that’s also a matter of continuity. Our coach [Pochettino] is doing a great job. But he is continuing the work of Tuchel, who laid the foundations by taking the team to the final [of the 2020 Champions League],” Mbappe told UEFA’s official website.
“We are starting to improve physically. We are not at our peak yet, although it was a very good match today. We will continue to progress so we can play like that again.”
