PSG Head Coach Not Arrogant about 1-4 Win over Barcelona in Champions League

PSG head coach Mauricio Pochettino has summed up the first leg of the Champions League 1/8 final against Barcelona (4-1) at the Camp Nou.

“In every match we try to find a balance between defense and attack, but we have to keep working to get better. I have only been working [at PSG] for 40 days and we have not yet found our style,” the coach said to UEFA’s official website.

“There is no ideal. I am satisfied with the game and the result, but we should not be arrogant. We have a top match against Monaco on Sunday and we are already thinking about it.”

About the game itself, he said: “Verratti reads the game very well. He allows us to come out of defense so that we can successfully launch attacks. He works hard and creates sharpness in attack. He is a great player.

“We have a return match ahead of us. There are still 90 minutes ahead and they have great players.”
