During the summer transfer window, Martin Odegaard left open the door to a permanent move to Arsenal.
On Sunday afternoon, the 22-year-old made his first Arsenal debut, featuring in the 4-2 Premier League win over Leeds United.
The midfielder was allowed to sign for the Gunners on loan, after struggling to make a sustained impression at Real Madrid during the first half of the campaign, for the rest of the season.
And the Norwegian international admitted, speaking after the match, that he was open to all possibilities later in 2021.
Odegaard told TV2: “You never know what is going to happen, but for now, I am just focusing on doing my best this season and helping the team as much as possible.”
