It is expected that Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes will wait until the end of the season before approving the proposed contract talks from the club.
Fernandes has constantly emphasized his intention to instill a winning attitude into the squad of the Red Devils.
After the 3-3 draw of his team with Everton, he acknowledged that before United gets to where they want to be, there is still work to do.
“We were making so many mistakes in the last few games and we can’t keep conceding goals like that,” he told MUTV. “We have to be more focused, we have to have the same desire to score and to defend our goal.
“Every time we have to make goals and score goals it has to be the same to not concede and I think we have to learn from this. It has already happened a lot of times so it is more than a bit disappointing. You talk about everything that is going on but it is about learning and make it better.”
Fernandes only joined the club in January 2020, but soon established himself as one of the best midfielders in world football.
He has secured 30 goals and 20 assists in his 55 appearances to date for the club.
