Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the Manchester United head coach, has spoken out about the team’s reserve goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
“I know he hasn’t played as many matches as he did last season, but you can see his progress in every match he has played and in training,” said Solskjaer to Sky Sport.
“He is working hard on a couple of points in his game, which he and I have discussed. I’ve been impressed with his attitude and work rate.”
Indeed, Henderson has featured in just three EPL games this season.
His coach said: “Of course, Henderson is not the most patient guy. He wants to play in every match because he knows he will play well. Let that last as long as possible, because he has improved even more since his return to United.”
