Manchester City are set to extend the contract of defender John Stones, claims The Times.
City head coach Pep Guardiola wants to make sure the 26-year-old does not leave the club, and is personally keen for the Englishman to extend his contract.
Stones’ current contract runs until 2022. And talks for an extension will begin in the summer.
Stones has played 13 games in the EPL this season without receiving a single card.
