Inter Milan forward Romelu Lukaku has reportedly emerged as Manchester City’s possible transfer target.
When his contract expires in the summer, Sergio Aguero is expected to leave the Etihad Stadium.
So, City will be in a situation that they will need a direct replacement.
And club officials have described Lukaku as the ideal alternative to the iconic Argentine, according to The Athletic.
The report claims that Lukaku has a number of admirers behind the scenes at City, placing him at the top of the summer shortlist of the club.
The 27-year-old has contributed 54 goals from 78 games in all competitions since he left Manchester United for San Siro in 2019.
