Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson has summed up the results of the match of the 22nd round of the English Premier League against Brighton (0-1).
“Brighton were stronger. We had a very disappointing game in every aspect. The opponents must be given credit for a good game. They created chances, they pressed us – they did what we wanted to do,” said Robertson to BBC.
“We didn’t really do anything. After a long unbeaten streak at home, we lost twice in a row. When you don’t show yourself, you can’t achieve results.”
Then, about the team defending their title, he said: “Absolutely all the games with Manchester City are crucial. We are not in the championship race at the moment.
“We are seven points behind them and they have a game in hand. I am sure they would say the same if they were 10 points behind, for example.
“We need to get back the Liverpool that everyone knows. We remain a good team and we haven’t become a bad team in one night.”
