The goalkeeper started for Juventus in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final against Inter.
On January 28, Buffon turned 43. And the goalkeeper made this his Juventus’ 679th outing.
Opta points out that this is the 1,100th game between club and country in Buffon’s professional career.
This is in comparison to Parma 220, Paris Saint-Germain 25 and Italy 176.
