The 1-0 win against Barnsley in the FA Cup 1/8 final match has been summed up by Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel.
“I’ll be honest, I feel relieved. Chelsea are in the quarter-finals, full stop. We scored a great goal and then they got more dangerous, more aggressive. We struggled with the first one, with the rebounds,” said Tuchel, while speaking to press as per Football.London.
“We were lucky twice. Kepa saved us in the first half and Abraham in the second. It wasn’t easy, but it happens in the cup. I don’t want to be too hard on the lads.”
“We had a lot of line-up changes, we lacked pace and confidence. We can obviously play better, but I won’t judge too harshly.”
