Champions League 1/8 final between Leipzig and Liverpool could take place in Hungary, reports The Times.
The issue of postponing the match arose after Germany halted air links with the UK until February 17 due to the spread of a new strain of the coronavirus.
So, the Liverpool team cannot travel to Germany.
But, unless Leipzig find another venue for the match, the German team will be punished with a 0-3 technical defeat.
And Puskas Arena in Budapest is UEFA’s backup in case of unforeseen circumstances if Leipzig cannot find an alternative stadium.
The match between RB Leipzig and Liverpool is scheduled for 16 February.
