BC Partners’ Offer of 750 Million Euros for an Inter Majority Stake Rejected by Suning

According to many Italian sources, Suning has declined BC Partners’ 750 million euro offer to buy a majority stake in Inter.

The proposal is in the €750m region, but demand is close to €1b.

Also, BC Partners has pledged an additional €200m to fund short-term loans, according to Tuttosport.

And the Financial Times reveals that Suning is ‘rushing to collect at least $200m in emergency cash.

The British Fund has made a bid to purchase a controlling stake in the club, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Il Corriere dello Sport, and Tuttosport.

The exclusivity period of BC Partners ended in January, which means that Suning will hear offers arriving from multiple suitors.
