Former Arsenal head coach Arsene Wenger has revealed that the Canaries could have signed PSG forward Kylian Mbappe, back when he played for Monaco.
“I was at his home when he was deciding whether to extend his contract with Monaco. He could have moved to Arsenal for free,” Wenger told beIN Sports.
“I think every club has plenty of stories like that. Milan, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea – there are stories like that everywhere.”
Instead, in 2017, Mbappe left Monaco for PSG on loan with a buyout clause.
