Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has summed up the first leg of the Europa League 1/16 final against Benfica (1-1).
“We got a bit confused after a corner and got a penalty. But we had a great reaction and scored a great goal,” said Arteta to BBC.
“We clearly dominated and created the right goal chances. We need to be more ruthless. Disappointed with the way we conceded,” he said.
“We tried to maintain our level of play. In the last 20 minutes both teams slowed down, but overall we deserved more.”
