Former Italian striker Antonio Cassano has put pressure on Antonio Conte by saying that Inter has the duty to win the Serie A title.
“The club bought all the players Conte wanted in the summer, he has the obligation to win,” Cassano told Bobo TV on Twitch.
Inter are two points off Milan’s Serie A leaders and are scheduled to face the Rossoneri on February 21 in a critical derby clash.
The Nerazzurri have no responsibility to win the title, former Inter director Marco Branca said, but Cassano does not share his opinion.
“He was eliminated from Europe, it would be a huge failure if he doesn’t win the Scudetto,” Cassano continued.
So, Inter must be winning, per Cassano and not Milan, who have invested €1.5 for their squad spending: “Milan has built the team with €1.5 and they are playing an incredible season. If the Rossoneri win the title, it would be a massacre for Inter.”
