The Lega Serie A and the Italian Sports Medical Federation shall send a medical guideline for the resumption of matches, to be submitted for Government assessment by May 28.
This guideline will be FIGC’s responsibility to examine. Speaking of FIGC, the President of the FIGC, Gabriele Gravina, is also calling for the resumption of the Serie C. The clubs seem dubious about the hypothesis of concluding the initiative, according to an article by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Meanwhile, Corriere della Sera believes that the FIGC will review this initial protocol, different from the group training protocol developed by FMSI and the Lega, before delivering it to the Government by Thursday next week.
As compared to the protocol for group training, this provides a higher frequency of examination and quarantine times that can be modified in line with the evolution of the pandemic.
