Manchester United must act fast to snap up Jadon Sancho and hand him their No.7 shirt, says Rio Ferdinand, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also urging Kalidou Koulibaly and Saul Niguez to move on.
“I think Harry Kane’s been linked, but if I’m pushing for an attacking player I’d still go to Sancho, he’ll give you that little imagination and I think he’ll give you that little spice they don’t have right now.” Ferdinand told Radio 5 Live’s 606 Savage Social podcast. “Yes, I would give Sancho No 7 and put that pressure right on his shoulders!”
Movements are expected in the next transfer window at Old Trafford, with the Red Devils boasting money to spend. And former United defender Ferdinand when asked who he would want to bring in: “Sancho, Koulibaly and Saul Niguez.”
