Now, we are happy to inform you that Barcelona have completed Agüero’s presentation.

Former City striker Sergio Agüero became a Barcelona player today, after Barcelona held a presentation for him.

First, the Catalan club performed a signing ceremony with the Argentine and Barсa president Joan Laporta. The newcomer was then presented at the Camp Nou stadium.

Garcia’s Arrival

Eric Garcia has followed Sergio Agüero’s footsteps from Manchester City to Barcelona, committing to a five-year deal at Camp Nou.

The Spanish defender actually began his career, as a youth player, in the Blaugrana’s famed La Masia academy.

And now, the ex-City defender has returned to the club, from Etihad Stadium, on a long-term contract of five years.

He will join Barcelona on a free transfer when his contract at officially expires at the end of this month.

Barca unveiled Garcia as part of Camp Nou on Tuesday. The 20-year-old has thus returned to familiar surroundings one day after Aguero’s arrival in Catalonia.

Barca have confirmed the signing of Garcia in a statement on their official website.

The statement reads: “The FC Barcelona and Eric Garcia have reached an agreement for joining the Club from July 1st, once his contract with Manchester City over.”

It went on to say: “The player will sign a contract until the end of the 2025/26 season and will have a termination clause of 400 million euros.”
