Paris Saint-Germain made an initial bid to Milan for midfielder Ismael Bennacer, but Milan has turned it down.
According to, the Italian club has reportedly rejected the first €30m offer from PSG.
However, PSG is determined to make a proposal for the Algeria international. Putting them off at the first bid isn’t enough, as PSG and Leonardo are determined to bring in the former Empoli talent.
Bennacer has made 23 competitive appearances for Milan this season, contributing one assist but becoming a key figure in their midfield, above all.
Milan reached an understanding with the player before he was named Player of the Tournament as Algeria won the African Cup of Nations. The Rossoneri paid €16 million last summer to get Bennacer from Empoli.
Even doubling that cost isn’t enough to tempt them into a sale now however, as it seems PSG will have to pay the 22-year-old at least €40 m.
