Later this month, Danielle Kang will make her LPGA Tour comeback

LPGA Tour: The 29-year-old American revealed at the US Women’s Open in June that she had been playing with a tumour on her spine. Danielle Kang has declared she will return to the LPGA Tour after taking a hiatus to focus on her health.

At the CP Women’s Open in Ottawa, Canada, later this month, Danielle Kang will make her comeback to the LPGA Tour.

Since disclosing that she had a tumour on her spine at the US Women’s Open in early June, the 29-year-old American star has not competed. She suffered back pain for several months before a diagnosis was made.

At the US Women’s Open, Kang tied for 63rd after making the cut. Afterwards, she went back to her home in Nevada for additional tests.

“I know you missed us … See you at the @cpwomensopen in two weeks,” Kang posted on Tuesday across her social media platforms.

On August 25, the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club will host the first day of the CP Women’s Open.

On the LPGA Tour, Kang has won six times, including the 2017 Women’s PGA Championship, a major. Her most recent triumph was at the LPGA’s Tournament of Champions in January.
