Juventus midfielder Federico Bernardeschi is said to prioritize first-team football in advance of the next European Championship by taking on a similar role to the one he currently plays in Turin.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Bernardeschi is likely to consider a move to England, with suggested as possible destinations by Chelsea and Manchester United.
At a time when Juve is said to be interested in Jorginho and Paul Pogba, the player could potentially be offered in a part-exchange deal to the Premier League giants.
Moreover, the versatile Italian has only been regarded as a rotational option since Maurizio Sarri’s arrival last summer, making only 12 starts and 12 substitute outings in all competitions.
The report suggests that all this has led the 26-year-old to ponder his future at the leaders of Serie A.
Bernardeschi is thus reportedly open to switching to the Premier League in 2020 later on.
