Inter announced the negative results of all COVID-19 swab and blood tests on players and staff.
“FC Internazionale Milano announces that all the results of Friday’s club players medical tests, coaching staff, management staff and the rest of the team group have returned as negative,” read a statement.
If someone is found to be positive for coronavirus before group training begins on Monday, then they are isolated.
However, the medical protocol has not yet been finalized for what happens if a player tests positive after group training has begun. While the government wants the entire squad to be quarantined for 15 days, the clubs and Players’ Association are pushing for only the infected figure to be isolated.
Behind the scenes, each Serie A club has to put its squad and workers through blanket testing, including at least two swabs and a sample of blood.
