Tiger Woods has said that he is extremely happy to have left the hospital to return home following his serious car crash last month. Woods underwent surgery on fractures to his lower left leg after a single-vehicle accident in Los Angeles, He was on his way to Rolling Hills Country Club. Woods was on his way for a publicity shoot in Rolling Hills County Club when the crash took place. He was pulled out through the windshield by emergency services.
“Happy to report that I am back home and continuing my recovery. I am so grateful for the outpouring of support and encouragement that I have received over the past few weeks.” Woods said, “Thank you to the incredible surgeons, doctors, nurses and staff at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. You have all taken such great care of me and I cannot thank you enough. I will be recovering at home and working on getting stronger every day.”
Woods vehicle came to the rest on the side near a steep road after hitting a median strip the police said. The former No 1 underwent surgery immediately after for multiple fractures to the right tibia and fibula.
