Tottenham Hotspur won 5-1 over NS Mura in the Europa Conference League group stage, in Group G. Harry Kane’s three goals, and two more for Tottenham, ensured their slump in form didn’t turn into a full-fledged crisis. So, as this highlights’ video shows in UEFA Conference League football news, Kane’s hat-trick saved Spurs from another defeat.

Tottenham raced out to an early lead before Slovenia’s champions pegged them back. But, ultimately, a late hat-trick from substitute Harry Kane saved them some embarrassment.

UEFA Conference League Football News – Kane’s Hat-trick Saved Spurs

Spurs enjoyed a penalty just three minutes into the match, after goalkeeper Matko Obradovic tackled Dele Alli. And the Tottenham captain made no mistake from the spot.

Soon after, Giovani Lo Celso doubled Spurs’ lead, latching onto a lovely dink over the top by Harry Winks. He immediately fired into the top corner.

Dele and Oliver Skipp came close to scoring, but Spurs had to settle for a two-goal lead at the break.

Just after halftime, though, the visitors equalized. Ziga Kous volleyed the ball into the bottom corner and drew a warm round of applause from the home fans.

Mura threatened to equalize, so Nuno Espirito Santo brought on Harry Kane and Son Heung-min to ensure their victory.

And Kane gave the Spurs the breathing room they needed by tucking away Lucas Moura’s lovely pass into the net.

The England captain doubled his tally for the night with 15 minutes remaining, this time converting Son’s low cross.

Finally, Kane completed his late hat-trick in the dying embers of the match as Spurs cruised to victory.
