Tottenham Head Coach: Modern Football Isn’t Easy – There’s Selfishness, Self-interest, Agents, and Press

Jose Mourinho, the Tottenham head coach, has shared his opinion on modern football.

“Football is not easy at the moment. There is selfishness, self-interest, agents, agents and their association with the press,” the 58-year-old specialist said to Sky Sports.

“All this instead of empathy for the team, empathy, a sense of ‘you help me and I will help you’, a feeling that you have won both when you have played 90 minutes and when you have been left on the bench,” he continued.

“It takes time to instill this in the team, because society and the psychology of young people are not simple,” he concluded.
