Tottenham Hotspur have the first refusal if they want to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid on a permanent basis this summer.
According to Eurosport, Spurs have the first refusal on him if they want to sign him permanently when his loan expires.
According to the report, Daniel Levy agreed to a compromise of the first refusal while discussing Bale’s temporary return to north London last summer.
Bale returned to Spurs on loan last summer after leaving for Real Madrid in 2013 and has found form as the season has progressed.
And the club wants the 31-year-old to stay.
There is still doubt about Bale’s future after the end of the season, though.
