Sergio Aguero is planning to leave Manchester City at the end of the season. Ending a 10-year relationship with the Citizens, the star will leave as a free agent in the summer. And, what with several European clubs interested in him, some Sergio Aguero transfer news is in order.
Aguero has been linked with clubs across Europe after it was confirmed he will depart Man City. And here is some much-needed Sergio Aguero transfer news, the latest reports on the clubs trying to sign him.
Aguero, 32, has found himself linked with the likes of Barcelona and Chelsea after the news of his leaving City broke.
And now, Aguero has received his first official offer…from Juventus.
According to reports, Juve have tabled an offer. The Turin club want him on a two-year deal, according to El Chiringuito.
However, Aguero wants to move to Barcelona and link up with Lionel Messi.
Meanwhile, Nigel Winterburn has a “big worry” about Aguero joining Arsenal.
The former Gunners defender remains unconvinced that Sergio Aguero would fit right at Emirates Stadium.
“Listen, I have no problem with age, with players, and he’s proven quality,” Winterburn told FreeSuperTips. “But over the last season and a half, he’s had a lot of injuries. That would be my big one worry and it also would depend on how you want to play.”
“You can’t doubt his quality of what we’ve seen,” he added, however.
Nonetheless he went on to say: “Within the Premier League, it would be a free transfer, but then the wages. Are you going to get that money back? Are you stopping the progression of other players?”
