The Premier League will begin on August 14. After all of its owners having decided on the date, the league has declared that the 2021/22 season.
The start of this season has been postponed because the previous one was delayed.
This is because the coronavirus pandemic brought football to a halt in March of last year.
This time, the intention is to commence in mid-August as usual, despite the fact that the European Championship has been delayed too.
While the Championship was initially planned for last summer, it will instead take place at the end of this season.
The Premier League announced the news via their official Twitter.
On May 22, 2022, the next round of matches will take place, with all matches taking place at the same time.
The opening fixtures should be played in front of full stadiums, including the United Kingdom’s intentions to leave lockout.
