Miralem Pjanic has had a difficult time at Barcelona ever since he arrived there from Juventus. Indeed, he’s currently on loan at Besiktas (football transfers), but he has expressed his love for his former club Juventus. Among other football news today, Pjanic wanted to return to Juventus from Barcelona this summer, he himself revealed.

Miralem Pjanic, 31, made 108 Serie A appearances for Juventus before moving to Barcelona in 2020, swapping with Arthur Melo.

There, however, he clashed with Barca head coach Ronald Koeman and has now joined Besiktas on loan, just in September.

Last transfer window, Miralem Pjanic expressed his desire to rejoin Juventus. The Barcelona newcomer (then) even urged Paulo Dybala to extend his contract in Turin.

And now that former manager Massimiliano Allegri is back in charge in Turin, the midfielder has again expressed his love for the Bianconeri and stated his desire to rejoin them.

“With Juve there have been contacts and appointments with my agent, but the transfer market is never easy,” Pjanic told Tuttosport.

“I would have liked to come back and I would have done everything to find [Massimiliano] Allegri, a guarantee.

“No one is better than him in these situations. Max makes all the players feel important and he doesn’t deny anyone a chance. I consider him number one, he’s a coach who talks to you for better or for worse.”
