Stefano Pioli has discussed the 2-0 win by Milan over Bologna.
This season, the Rossoneri have now played two competitive games, winning both 2-0 against Shamrock Rovers in the Europa League and Serie A with Bologna.
“We did well against a very aggressive, intense opponent, and I thought up until the second goal we were doing very well, creating chances and pressing. There are areas where we need to improve once we’ve taken the lead,” Pioli told Sky Sport Italia, about beating Bologna.
Pioli also maintains that Milan ‘plays with confidence’ and individuals develop when ‘the team works’: “When a team is in good shape mentally, the legs and body go along with the mind.”
