Peter Bos has been sent off as Bayer Leverkusen’s head coach, as per the official website of the club.
Recently, the Bayer team was relegated from the Europa League.
They also lost in the German Cup to a club from the 4th division.
Finally, in their last nine games in Bundesliga, they have only two wins while suffering five defeats.
So, the Dutchman has been sacked as their coach due to these recent unsatisfactory results.
Hannes Wolf has taken charge of the Leverkusen club temporarily.
Wolf, who trained with the German U18 national youth team, will lead them until the end of the season.
His assistant coach is Peter Hermann. He’s previously worked as Bayer’s assistant head coach from 1989 to 2008 and also from 2009 to 2011.
