Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has praised his interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s man-management.
“His man-management is second to none,” Shaw told Sky Sports News.
“The way he conducts himself in terms of how he speaks to the players gets the best out of them. He takes the pressure off the lads and takes it all himself,” he continued.
The left-back joined Man United for £30 million in June 2014.
However, he struggled for playing time under former managers Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho.
He had already been linked with a move away from the club.
“I had no confidence at that time. I was losing my belief. I think that is what changed with Ole. He managed me right and I got my confidence back and I am really enjoying it at the moment,” Shaw said about that era.
Since then, though, the 25-year-old has established himself as a central figure in Solskjaer’s side.
He’s already made more starts this season than he did last season.
