According to Marca, Luka Modrić will sign a one-year deal with Real Madrid.
His new contract will run until June 30, 2022. But the player has taken a pay cut in order to stay at the club.
The 35-year-old midfielder’s recent performances have convinced the club. The player has scored two goals and made one assist in 14 La Liga games.
Thus, Real have agreed a contract extension with the Croatian midfielder.
Modrić has been at Madrid since 2012. He has won the Champions League four times and won La Liga twice. He won the Ballon d’Or in 2018.
