Leeds United Defeat Sheffield United 0-1 in the Third Premier League Round


Leeds United beat Sheffield United 1-0 away in the third round of the English Championship, Premier League.

Collecting six points in the first three rounds, Leeds United are currently in sixth place.

Meanwhile, Sheffield United hold the back with three defeats and a goal difference of 0-4.

The deciding goal was scored by Patrick Bamford in the 88th minute with a header after a cross by Jack Harrison.

At the opening of the season he scored a goal in a 3-4 away defeat to Liverpool, while in the second round he scored in a 4-3 win against Fulham.

Bamford thus made club history by becoming the first Leeds player to shake a rival net in every match in the first three rounds of the elite class of English football.
