Daniel Sturridge may move to MLS, that is, Major League Soccer. This is because Inter Miami and DC United want Sturridge.
Sturridge is reportedly wanted by David Beckham’s Inter Miami, who recently signed Englishman Kieran Gibbs.
DC United, meanwhile, were able to sign Wayne Rooney for a short period between June 2018 and October 2019. They also want Sturridge now.
So, Inter Miami and DC United want Sturridge. Both MLS giants are thus currently keeping an eye on the former England striker.
According to the Daily Mirror, Sturridge won 26 caps for the England national team.
So he is regarded as a hugely gifted striker with a natural goalscoring ability.
Sturridge made 16 appearances in all competitions during his time with Trabzonspor, scoring seven goals.
But he was released by Turkish club Trabzonspor. So, the 31-year-old has been a free agent for just over a year.
And the former Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City forward is now trying to revive his career.
He’d be a huge coup for the MLS, were he to join up before the 2021 campaign begins in April.
