Robin Gosens has spoken about his failed attempt to get Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo a jersey. ‘I tried to fulfill my dream of getting Ronaldo’s shirt’- Gosens said as an Atalanta defender.
“After the Juventus game I tried to fulfill my dream of getting Ronaldo’s shirt,” Gosens said as per Goal.
“After the final whistle, I approached him without even starting to celebrate,” he said.
Further, the player wrote in his biography titled “Dreams are Worthwhile”: “But Ronaldo refused. I asked him, ‘Cristiano, can I have your shirt?’
“He didn’t even look at me, just said: ‘No.’ I felt ashamed, I blushed. I walked away feeling small.”
“You know that moment when something embarrassing happens and you look around to see if anyone noticed? That’s how I felt, I tried to hide it,” he added.
Now, Gosens is one of the transfer targets for Juventus, as recent reports revealed.
