Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gündogan has compared coaches Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp.
Himself wanting to coach a team one day, Gündogan has compared coaches on their skills.
“Pep and Jurgen are very different coaches. Both are great, both have the types of personalities I get on with,” said Gündogan to Mr Porter.
Now with Pep, Gündogan worked with Klopp at Borussia Dortmund. The latter now coaches Liverpool.
And about him, Gündogan said: “But Jurgen is a motivator who prepares you for the battle, while Pep pays incredible attention to the tactical details of the game.
“He always needs a plan, he wants to see patterns in the game. That’s why he likes smart, flexible and versatile players.”
