Among news of other football transfers, Emre Demir will soon join Barcelona B at the start of next season. Barcelona have agreed on a deal to sign Demir, the Super Lig’s youngest ever scorer, to their B team.
Emre Demir has already appeared 31 times at senior level. Also, he made history in November 2019 when he became the Turkish top flight’s youngest scorer. It was a record because he was 15 years, 9 months, and 25 days old.
The youngster has previously already had a trial at Barcelona’s La Masia academy in 2017.
And now, as Barcelona confirm him, he will become the Catalans’ third Turkish signing after Rustu Recber and Arda Turan.
Football Transfers – Emre Demir Will Soon Join Barcelona B
Barcelona have agreed to terms with Turkish club Kayserispor for signing attacking midfielder Emre Demir, the club confirmed (football news).
Demir will join Barca on a five-year contract extension until 2027 from next season onward.
The Catalan giants will pay an initial €2 million for the 17-year-old and have set a €400 million buyout clause.
Demir will remain with Kayserispor in the Super Lig for the remainder of the 2021-22 season. Only then will he join Barcelona B at the start of the following season.
