Football News – Lingard Won’t Sign a Manchester United Contract
English international Jesse Lingard has entered the final year of his Manchester United deal, running until the summer of 2022.
If the two parties cannot agree on an extension soon, Lingard will be able to leave as a free agent.
And this tight deadline might compel Manchester United, hitherto blocking football transfers, to sell or loan him to West Ham.
Last season, Lingard, who graduated through Man United academy, spent a half-season loan spell at West Ham United.
There, he played a brilliant season after scoring 9 goals in just 16 appearances.
This feat even won him the Premier League Player of the Month and Premier League Goal of the Month awards. He won these dual honours back-to-back in April of this year.
