Football News – Juventus Announce Their UCL Group Stage Squad

Following the close of the Italian transfer window, Juventus have announced their 23-man squad for the round of group stages in this season’s UEFA Champions League (UCL). So, yesterday saw, in some relevant football news, Juventus announce their UCL group stage squad, which includes 23 first-team players.

For the current season, we recently reported the football news that UEFA had determined this season’s Champions League group-stage draw.

Therein, the UEFA group-stage draw had, by sheer luck, given the Italian giants a relatively kind and easy group opponents.

For their Champions League campaign, in Group H, Juventus may only have to worry about the defending European champions Chelsea.

Though those aren’t the kindest results in a draw, the Turin club’s remaining two rivals should be easier to beat.

Zenit St. Petersburg, who offer not the nicest away trip, but winnable games, are the third opponents in Group H.

And finally, Juventus will also have to beat Malmo, who most likely will give away games without much resistance.

Now, in order to defeat those three teams, new Juve manager Massimiliano Allegri has named a 23-man squad. And this roster of 23 men includes many familiar faces.
