Football News – Dundee Captain Charlie Adam Has Been Arrested
As a consequence, the local Dundee police have arrested and charged Adam, who turned 36 last week. They are now soon going to send a report to prosecutors.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Shortly after 4.25am on Monday, December 13, 2021 a 36-year-old man was arrested and charged for a road traffic offence in Dundee Road West, Dundee.
“A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.”
Meanwhile, a Dundee spokesperson said about this: “We are aware of the incident but will be making no further comment.”
Dundee FC will face Hibernian at Easter Road on Tuesday but it is likely Adam will have missed the tie.
Beside his drunkenly driving misadventure, after all, Adam came off with an injury in Dundee’s latest match, on Saturday. Just 13 minutes into their 3-2 defeat at Ross County, the injured Dundee captain took himself off the pitch.
Overall, the Dens Park club, who were promoted to the Scottish Premiership in the summer, are 10th in the table. This means that they are still just two points clear of the bottom spot and relegation is a looming possibility.
