Catalan Mundo Deportivo reports that two Barcelona targets in January could be David Alaba and Paul Pogba.
Alaba has previously linked up with Barcelona, who can sign a pre-contract with him in January.
He has entered the final year of his contract with Bayern and is in conflict with the club’s leaders over a new contract.
On the other hand, Pogba is Barcelona’s long-held wish. And now the Catalans could bring him in next summer without compensation.
Barcelona is the club most affected by the crisis due to the coronavirus pandemic and this is why they plan to bring only cheap or free players in the next two transitional periods.
The Catalan giants tried to bring in Lautaro Martinez from Inter, but did not have enough money for that transfer, nor for bringing in Memphis Depay from Lyon.
Barcelona thus failed to make any major transfers in the last transfer window.
