The club has not made any decisions on the future of the 36-year-old Portuguese.
Possible options will be assessed in the coming months. The issue will be discussed by Juventus representatives and agent Jorge Mendes, claims CBS.
It is thus likely that a decision on Ronaldo’s future will be made at the end of the season.
As of now, both Juventus and the player himself want to focus on Serie A and the Italian Cup.
Juventus will unequivocally start a rebuild, with youngsters – Matthijs de Ligt, Weston McKennie, Federico Chiesa, Dejan Kulusevski and Wojciech Szczęsny as the backbone of the new team.
The player has scored 23 goals in 23 Serie A games this season.
The Portuguese’s current contract with Juve expires in the summer of 2022.
And earlier reports suggested that Ronaldo could return to Real Madrid this summer.
