Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho got a knee surgery.
He has undergone another operation on his knee, which he injured at the end of December last year.
According to Esport3, the footballer flew to Qatar to undergo a medical check-up after undergoing a meniscus surgery for the second time.
He underwent the same procedure about a month ago. The first surgery was carried out in January.
After that, the Brazilian continued to feel discomfort.
However, now his knee is recovering faster.
Coutinho was initially expected to return to the pitch in early April. This timetable has now been pushed back.
Still, the club is confident that the midfielder will play for Barca in a month’s time.
The player has made 14 appearances for the club in all competitions this season, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
