And now, Manchester United have bought him from Italian outlet Juventus.

Ronaldo arrived at the Turin club from Real Madrid for 108 million euros on July 2018.

After Ronaldo’s football transfers to Paris Saint-Germain and, until just now, Manchester City failed, United got involved in the story.

They ensured the return of the 36-year-old Portuguese in 2021, after he left in 2009.

Cristiano Ronaldo first joined Manchester United as an 18-year-old, when the Manchester club brought him from Sporting for 19 million euros.

And six years later they sold him to Real for 94 million, which was the biggest transfer of all time.

Ronaldo scored 118 goals in 292 appearances in the first leg at Manchester United from the years 2003 to 2009.
